We would like to thank all of you that have made our 4-H & FFA contests grow.  With continued support from our current teams and the addition of new ones, we hope to make our Range and Pasture Plant ID contest bigger and better each year. 

We are excited about continuing the growth of our Agricultural Public Speaking Contest for the second year. Thanks to support from Lone Star Ag Credit, our Grand Champion Public Speaker will receive a $5,000 scholarship.  The winner of this scholarship will still need to meet the eligibility rules and requirements for the State Fair of Texas Scholarship.  This year we are excited to host our newest event, the AgriScience Fair, where students will have the opportunity to compete and showcase their best agricultural science projects.

Please remember that detailed speech topics and manuscripts must be in the Livestock Office by September 8th.  You must also bring three (3) copies of your manuscript with you on speech day!  Also, don't forget your Statement of Originality.  We look forward to hearing your speeches on October 5th!
